Clean Living – Terms & Conditions
1. General: These Terms and Conditions form a contract between Clean Living (“the Company”) and the Client. They apply to all work unless amended in writing by both parties.
2. Quotations: Valid for 30 days from issue. Prices may change if additional work is required due to unforeseen circumstances.
3. Payment Terms: Payment is due by cash, credit, or debit card. Credit, if agreed, is payable within 7 days of invoice. Overdue accounts may incur interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
4. Liability and Limitations: Complete removal of stains, marks, or odours cannot be guaranteed. The Company is not liable for shrinkage, colour changes, or damage due to pre-existing defects. For exterior work, no responsibility is accepted for water ingress from faulty seals, cracked render, or loose materials. Some surfaces may not fully restore due to age or staining. These terms do not affect statutory rights.
5. Customer Responsibilities: Clients must remove furniture and valuables, ensure safe access, and provide water/electricity if needed. The Company is not liable for items not removed unless damage results from negligence. Do not replace furniture until carpets or floors are completely dry.
6. Exterior Cleaning Access: Ensure clear access and external water supply. Obstructions (vehicles, bins, furniture) should be moved beforehand. Charges may apply for wasted visits where access is blocked.
7. Weather Conditions: Exterior work may be postponed in poor weather. Jobs will be rescheduled at the earliest suitable time without charge.
8. Guarantees: If you are not satisfied, contact us within 48 hours so we can review and, if necessary, revisit. No guarantee applies to permanent stains or pre-existing damage.
9. Health & Safety: The Company follows current safety regulations. Clients and pets should avoid the area during and immediately after cleaning.
10. Cancellations: Please give at least 24 hours’ notice. Short-notice cancellations may incur a charge if costs have already been incurred.
